“Inky Waters” Nuno Felt Scarf. One off, hand dyed, hand made nuno felt scarf. There are many stages to the process of making this elegant piece. A beautiful light and lustrous silk ponge scarf has been hand dyed in inky blue/green/ grey shades; giving it the inky quality form which it takes its name. Merino felt fibres in shades of duck egg blue and a light minty green have been pre-felt to form a layer, allowing them to be be cut into circles and placed on the surface of the silk. The circles decorate either end and run down the spine of the scarf. They represent bubbles in water. Additional fibres such as Angelina and knepps have been added to give sparkle and texture. Resulting in a scarf that can be worn in many different ways and can look tonal and subtle or eye catching and unique. Approximate Length 150cm x 30cm. Product code – NFS ND IW 062011
